Shipping + Returns
All goods are packaged beautifully and with great care, we wrap all our items in tissue to make the parcel special for you to receive. As Milieu is our side hustle we cannot offer same day dispatch unfortunately. We will send the order the next working day after it is received, we hope you understand.
Shipping is automatically calculated at check out and depends on the size of the item you are purchasing. At most, your parcel should arrive within 5 working days of receipt of order. Once the courier has picked up your order you'll be emailed a tracking number so that you can follow the journey of your parcel. If the incorrect freight option is selected, we will contact you by email to arrange payment of the difference.
REST OF THE WORLD
We are happy to provide you with a quote to your specific country outside of New Zealand, to request a quote please email firstname.lastname@example.org with the items and address you wish to send it to.
You can expect that items will usually arrive at their destination within the time frame specified. However our courier provider does not directly control all parts of the delivery chain, they cannot guarantee that your item will always reach its destination within the delivery target. Delivery to areas outside major cities, or where your item is dutiable or held in customs, may take longer. The delivery targets listed are only a guide. This is subject to processing time and product availability - we will always advise if there is an expected delay. Any additional taxes or customs duties that are incurred within the recipients country are the responsibility of the buyer/recipient. If by any chance you have not received your order with 3 weeks after you placed your order, please contact us immediately as we will make sure we follow this up for you with our courier company and resolve any issues straight away.
RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
We at Milieu value the quality of the products offered and the delivery methods used. If for any reason you are not happy please contact us immediately. If the product is faulty we will gladly replace the product. If the product is out of stock we will refund your money or offer you a credit. Please notify us within 7 days of receiving the goods. If you change your mind, exchanging goods is at the discretion of Milieu. You will require proof of purchase to return or exchange the product. If the product has been damaged in transit, please let us know immediately and we will contact the courier company directly to sort out any claims.
At Milieu we make every effort to provide our customers with the best-handcrafted and high-quality bags. Please note that all our processes to make the bags are done by hand. Many of our products have natural characteristics and qualities that should not be considered as flaws or as damage because they do not interfere with the functionality of the bag. We up-cycle vintage Huiples to make beautiful one off clutches. Many times you will find snags in the pattern. This is normal. Should your patterned Huipil snag you can snip the loose threads with scissors. Do not pull them.
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
